Planning a hen’s party? es+elle have your back.
Choosing the best destination for the bride tribe is a big responsibility, especially if you’re considering an overseas affair.
es+elle did the groundwork and crossed the Pacific Ocean to determine the big question: Las Vegas or Miami?

Read on for es+elle’s final verdict and hot travel tips.
When booking a hotel in Miami, go beachside. The coastline is stunning and the boardwalk is loaded with lovely restaurants and cafes. es+elle stayed at the Nobu Hotel. This hidden gem was the perfect spot to enjoy some peace and quiet in Miami, and would even make a great spot for a destination wedding. es+elle recommends booking an oceanfront room with a balcony as the rooms are slightly smaller than expected.
If you’re not looking for peace and quiet, the Fontainebleau is the biggest party hotel in the city. It’s a fun experience, but don’t expect to get much sleep if you’re staying there!
Miami is rated a top city amongst foodies. La Mar by Gaston Acurio serves up delicious Peruvian and fusion fare in the most beautiful waterfront space. An ideal restaurant for dinner, the ceviche and anticucho are drool-worthy as are the cocktails.
When it comes to lunch, KYU dishes up beautiful Asian-infused cuisine. The grilled meats, sashimi and cocktails are a must-try.
Miami is known for its delish cocktails, and lots of bars offer some competitive happy hours. Make sure you try the giant cocktails. You’ll likely find a deal offering 2 for 1… and you won’t need much more after that.
Wondering the streets of Miami is an experience in itself. The fashion is everything you’d expect from sizzling Miami, and you’re likely to spot someone famous soaking up the Miami heat. Explore the beautiful houses, the boats, and the lavish lifestyles. Admire the colourful architecture lining iconic streets like Ocean Drive. The Street art in Wynwood is also a must-see to get that perfect Instagram shot.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel. This is the perfect space for a hen’s, buck’s or huck’s. The space provides an urban residence, the rooms are spacious and the beds are the ultimate comfort after a big night. With 27 options for food or drink, you’ll find a stunning chandelier bar, a day/night club, a blowout bar that serves cocktails while you get your hair done, and secret dining spots you won’t find on the map. Did we mention the hotel is also a casino? Everything you need is literally under the one roof.
Beauty and Essex. This hidden gem is found behind a pawn shop in the Cosmopolitan. Open the pastel green door and step inside a sophisticated space with luxe, vintage decor offering modern American cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and fine wine. We highly recommend you book a booth for you and your girls to kick start the night.
P.s. The Thai style deep fried shrimp is a must try. Drool.
Another hidden gem is Secret Pizza. It’s not the easiest pizza joint to find in Vegas, but it’s worth the search. (Especially when you’re hung over and craving a greasy slice or two). Serving up some of the best pizza in Vegas, you’ll find it down a long corridor on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan. You’re welcome.
Day clubs are a must, and Wet Republic is our hot pick of the bunch. Also, if you’re heading out to a nightclub, buy a VIP express entry ticket. It’s totally worth it… unless you like standing in lines.

When you think Vegas, you think old Vegas Fremont Street. This is a must see, along with the current neon-soaked strip along Las Vegas Boulevard. You can drink while walking along the strip. We highly recommend getting one of the giant cocktails from Fat Tuesday.
It’s not all drinking and gambling along the strip. There are loads of shops from designer fashion to novelty shops and everything in between. If you’re after a big girls-day-out full of shopping, venture a bit further north or south from the strip and check out the outlets. There’s two outlets either end of the strip, so take your pick.
Vegas is a hub for live entertainment. From acrobatic extravaganzas to comedians and everything in between, there’s plenty of entertainment to choose from. Catch a residence show like Britney Spears, Celine Dion, or David Copperfield. Cirque Du Soleil have seven shows exclusive to Las Vegas. Or go back in time and watch a tribute show like Michael Jackson or Elvis.

The verdict to the big question:
Las Vegas or Miami?

Both are notorious for bachelorettes (and bachelors) to enjoy one final hurrah before tying the knot… and for good reason.
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. A visit to Vegas wouldn’t be complete without some gambling, partying, eating, drinking and more partying.
Miami, on the other hand, offers a more relaxed vibe. The combination of the city and the beach makes Miami the perfect place to enjoy a big night out with the girls, followed by a chill day under the sun.

Miami has the best of both worlds and makes an unforgettable spot for a bachelorette party.  es+elle's final verdict is MIAMI!!
